Vera Lertora escaped communist Czechoslavkia as a refugee in 1989. Her journey to the U.S. was one of the most challenging times in her life. Now, the registered nurse has been thrust into another challenge: coordinating the COVID-19 unit at Saint Agnes Hospital.
