Ocean City to reopen beaches, boardwalk this weekend, won’t turn away out-of-town visitors

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan said the town will reopen its beaches to the general public this Saturday, telling reporters Monday that he doesn’t believe the action will violate Gov. Larry Hogan’s executive order allowing for essential travel only.
